Job DescriptionThe Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (DSNP) Lead Director reports to the Chief Medicare Officer (NC, SC, TN) and is responsible for all aspects of the DSNPs in the assigned markets by working collaboratively with the local market, enterprise functions, the National DSNP Program Office and the State Departments of Insurance. This includes oversight, management, and coordination of all operational elements.Fundamental Components:This key role will be the business owner for this growing program in the market working with the National DSNP Program Office, connecting, and aligning functional areas, with Medicaid as appropriate and enhancing collaboration to assure success. Responsible for product design, developing growth goals and maintaining financial performance. Will support the local market sales team and driving membership growth through the development of training and community relationships/activation. Coordinates with business partners to oversee provider network structure, quality, clinical outcomes, and care management delivery. Develops opportunities to drive Star ratings performance and a positive member experience.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 100,000Maximum: 227,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 10+ years managed care / health insurance industry experience. Minimum 3+ years' experience with Dual Special Needs Plan and/or a Medicaid managed care program that includes duals and DSNPs. Knowledge of sales strategy and community engagement Multiple years proven leadership experience setting strategic direction and influencing change that resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes. Proven record of accomplishment managing complex projects and or programs that resulted in cost savings and working in a complex matrixed organization. Experience working with external healthcare providers or health systems Experience managing large budgets.
