Job DescriptionJoin our fast-paced, innovative and collaborativeenvironment with a focus on driving automation and shifting towards a software defined infrastructure. The Scrum Master is a servant leader and coach for an Agile Scrum team, assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable. Our Scrum Master guides the team to self-organization., facilitating work effort and ensuring Agile best practices are followed. He/she encourages team coordination and supports the progress of the Pl between individual team members. The Scrum Master removes impediments (by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment) helps manage risk and drives relentless improvement.Manages team ceremonies and processes, assisting the team in achieving their commitments by building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised, with an emphasis on problem-solving.Works closely with the Product OwnersFacilitates discussion, decision making and conflict resolution as well as assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency and radiating informationCollaborates with the RTE and other Scrum Masters Provides guidance on agile best practices Assists the team's progress in achieving their commitments through strong issue, risk and dependency management.Collaborates with partners external to the team, including vendor partners and other Scrum teams for delivering, resolving prioritization, conflicts and synchronization.Facilitates story creation, estimation, dependencies, release planning, and continuous integrationTranslates roadmap into team specific release planning and sprint planningIdentifies and capitalizes on interdependencies Builds trusted partnerships with scrum team/PODmembersMentors team members on Agile framework Delivers process improvements, and systemenhancements using the Agile methodologyManage and maintain team-level dashboard reporting to track execution for the team and stakeholder leadership.Manage budget and spend through forecasting, team allocations and monitoring.Coaches and mentors new Scrum Masters and team members through SAFe best practices.Act as an agent of change for the organization, shifting mindsets and culture to support agility at all levels of the company.Be a true leader and serve the product owner, team, and organization.Facilitate cross-team collaboration, and implement agile principles beyond a single team.Serve the organization as a champion of agile - someone who removes high-level impediments and catalyzes change.Facilitate better dialogue between the product owner, scrum team members, customers, stakeholders, and executives.Use problem-solving techniques when encountering organizational impediments like resistance to change, silos, lack of engagement, and low motivation.Take action as a change agent to get buy-in from stakeholders, management, customers, and others.Manages team capacity and velocity trends.Explore and resolve dysfunctions of a team.Act as a backup for the RTE as needed.Coaches teams on Rally navigation and best practices.Participate or lead a Scrum Master Community of Practice across the organization.This role offers working remote fulltime from anywhere in the US.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 115,000Maximum: 230,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications- 8+ years of relevant experience.- Proficient in SAFe Agile and other Agile frameworks.- Strong servant leadership skills, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, mentoring, empowerment, and increasing transparency.- Technical aptitude to support program's use of work management and collaboration tools.- Desire to work collaboratively and experienced in driving projects to completion.- Ability to cultivate self-driven, self-managed scrum teams/PODS.- Proficient with Rally.- Scrum Master Certification.- Advanced Scrum Master Certification.Preferred Qualifications- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) 5.0 Certification- Strong analytical, oral and written communication,presentation skills.- Prior Scrum Master experience- Experience with infrastructure and automation tooling - Familiar with SDI (Software defined infrastructure)- Skills using project management and collaboration tools such CA Rally, Confluence/SharePoint, etc.- Understanding of resource allocations, forecasting, and budgetingEducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.Business OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
