The individual will be responsible for all our accounting operations. This position will help scale our processes in a growing environment. The role will report directly to Vice President.What You'll DoManage the month end close processPrepare and analyze consolidated financial statements ensuring accuracy and completeness in compliance with GAAP.Perform technical accounting research. Prepare memos and facilitate discussion with leadershipReview journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysisIdentify, resolve variances and provide analysis of financial resultsOversee all key accounting operations and compliance functionsSupport the audit process, including preparation of materials for the financial statement audit, statutory audits and coordination with the external audit team.Identify opportunities for process improvements to accelerate the close and reporting timelines; automate manual procedures and computations.Build a strong team through recruiting, staffing, professional development, mentorship, andor corrective action as needed.Assist with ad hoc projects as neededWho You AreBS in Accounting. CPA - preferred6+ years of relevant accounting experience. Big 4 preferred. SaaS or Technology industry preferredDeep experience with interpreting and applying GAAP to business transactions, including knowledge of ASC 606Experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting and monthly closing.Experience with ERP systems; Netsuite a plusExperience in managing a team of professionalsExcellent communication skills: proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners at various levels in a clear and concise mannerTeam player with a strong work ethicHighly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem solvingAbility to meet tight timelines; able to manage multiple prioritiesProven proficiency of Microsoft Office. Experience with PowerBI is preferredStrong systems orientation with a desire to drive process automation, using financial systems and tools
