Application Development Manager

Job DescriptionThe Manager, Application Development (IC) - Pega Application Development will be responsible to serve as a subject matter expert in developing complex workflows and processes within the Pega development environments to meet project objectives. Must be able to provide technical direction, within the context of a project team, to meet the needs of internal customers in accordance with enterprise/departmental standards. Where appropriate, may have to interact with technical staff at Pega Systems, Inc. and/or other CVS Health IT partners (internal and external to CVS Health) to ensure delivery of short and Longterm project/program objectives. Must be capable of acting as a Project Owner (PO), within the CVS Health System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) construct, to be the technical accountable party for Pega activities for which (s)he may be responsible. Must be capable of providing input for and review Pega staffing models and Pega architectural artifacts.Must be able to operate in a dynamic environment that demands an ability to prioritize and decompose projects to meet aggressive timelines. Where appropriate, must be capable of writing custom Pega code to meet the needs of project objectives. Must also be able to be an escalation point for production support staff requiring assistance in troubleshooting Pega issues. Work off hours and 24/7 on call as needed.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 90,000Maximum: 180,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications Pega Certified Senior System Architect 5+ years of experience working with Pega PRPC version 7 or 8 5+ years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions using Pega Systems PRPC tool. 5+ years hands-on experience in Designing and Implementing Enterprise Class Rules, PRPC Flows, Activities, Reports and Correspondence, PRPC Case Management and various PRPC Integrations. 2+ years of exposure to Pega 8.XPreferred Qualifications Good verbal and written communication skills Master's Degree Location - New Jersey, Dallas, Ohio Green card Pega Certified Lead System Architect Healthcare experience Pega deployment manager experience Test Case Automation experience DevOps or Jenkins pipelines experience Experience working with any programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or .Net Experience working with any database technologies like DB2, MS SQL Server and OracleEducationBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT OR 7+ years of equivalent experienceBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
