In response to increasing client demand, we are excited to announce a new opportunity at Shuck-Britson's office in Iowa City, IA for a seasoned structures professional to manage and growclient relationships and projects from design through construction.This role will be focusing on client relationships, client development, and will oversee the design and spec development of bridge structure projects primarily located in Iowa and some bordering states where our clients are located and include both public and private entities.Assignmentswill involve taking aleadership role in the growth of the structures practice - assisting in the analysis, conceptualization, design and construction of projects involving bridge structures.The successful candidate can expect to have regular interaction with clients and other consultants including architects and civil engineers.10 or more years experience in design and construction oversight of bridge structure projects in the United StatesPE designation with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Structures emphasis; Masters-level education a plus but not requiredLeadership / project management skills a plusStrong history with successful client relationship skillsExperience must illustrate progressively greater responsibilities in project assignments Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills as this position interacts with individuals of diverse backgrounds: non-technical clients, architects, design technicians, civil engineers, the general public, developers, administrators,municipal leaders and staff.Must be a proven problem solverDemonstrated ability to keep projects on scope, on budget and on timeEOE / AA / E-Verify
