Base pay range$170,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr Software Engineering Manager required for consumer tech marketplace Hybrid or Remote position based in NYC. Must be a US Citizen/Green Card Holder The Company Our client is a leader in the consumer marketplace industry. Now seeking a talented Software Engineering Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in management and will be responsible for managing and leading a diverse full stack engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Responsibilities As Engineering Manager you will manage, coach, and support your engineering team Design, build, and maintain APIs, user-facing experiences, services, and systems Partner with Product and Design teams Help implement effective engineering processes and policies Work with talent to source and hire amazing engineers Build a high performing and positive work environment based on transparency and trust Promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace Ensure best practices are followed for software development including code reviews Conduct regular performance reviews Comfortable undertaking code reviews and pair programming sessions. Contribute to production code when time allows Qualifications 3+ years' of management experience, 5+ years of software engineering experience (ideally as a Full Stack Developer) Extensive experience in TypeScript and Web Development, with a deep understanding of its best practices, advanced types and performance optimization techniques.
