Major Responsibilities of a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep: Manage territory accounts and identify key decision-makers. Inform influential physicians about pharmaceutical and medical products. Balance time spent with customers to meet targets and keep your skills and product knowledge current. Develop strategies to compete and succeed in the healthcare marketplace. Key Duties: Build positive relationships and penetrate large accounts by identifying decision-makers. Develop a creative approach to expanding the customer base. Create a territory plan with goals and resource allocation. Gain formulary acceptance and compliance with managed care accounts. Partner proactively with customers, understanding long-term trends to develop business plans. Use consultative skills to assist customers with their business needs. Market and sell vertical products. Requirements and Qualifications: Some sales experience or related abilities. Ability to work remotely and use ZOOM software. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to target healthcare professionals to maximize sales and product volume. Effective selling skills and product knowledge to influence prescribing behaviors. Analyze territory data to optimize routes and achieve sales targets. Use sales tools and resources effectively. Leverage customer knowledge to address healthcare professionals' and patients' needs.
