Road Maintenance and Landfill Equipment Operator

Government Jobs - Full-Time - $40,588.00 - $50,736.00 Annually The purpose of this position is to perform semi-skilled work in the construction, repair and maintenance of roads, right-of-ways, auxiliary structures, and secondary roads; operate various types of construction equipment in accordance with safety regulations and procedures. Ensures the safe operations of recycling and landfill; weighs vehicles, directs traffic and assists customers at the landfill. Operates trucks, performs cleaning duties and trains new employees. The employee will be assigned to the Roads Division or the Recycling & Landfill Division and will be asked to work in either Division as required on a temporary basis.
