Houseperson Full Time $15.25/Hour Location: Gatlinburg Town Square by Exploria Resorts Job Summary: The Houseperson will report directly to the Executive Housekeeper and is responsible for the linen, trash and floors of the guest units within the resort. The position requires a certain amount of physicality. Responsibilities and Duties: Deliver linen bags for designated units Strip designated units of linens, towels, and trash Deliver inventory to designated units and respond to guest calls as needed Keep designated floors clear of linen and trash throughout the shift Designated floors must be cleaned before the end of shift Complete all daily tasks as assigned by supervisor Close cart rooms at end of each shift Stock supply cabinets and cart rooms Supply linen for room attendants as needed throughout shift Clean house person linen cart at end of shift Clean carpets to all units as needed All other duties assigned by management. Qualifications Qualifications and Skills: Ability to read and write in English Previous housekeeping experience preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Required Competencies: Strong attention to detail Positive attitude Self-starter Willingness to learn Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to crouch, stand, twist, push and pull throughout the work day.
