Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

(until considered fully qualified approximately 4 months).BENEFITS INCLUDE:·      Family health, Dental and Vision Insurance·      Company paid life insurance·      401k plan and after 1 yr service Company unmatched contribution of 5.5%·      weekly·      2 weeks' vacation after 1yr service, 3-week vacation after 5yr service·      11 Holidays, 4 personal days and employee's birthday·      $150 safety shoes voucher after probationary periodRESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:·      Responsible for overseeing the production process, specifically for the new generation of refrigerants.·      Training and managing production personnel, including setting performance standards and conducting evaluations.·      Acting as a key point of communication between the production area and other departments on 3 rd shift as well as with upper management, providing regular reports on production status and challenges.·      Ensuring strict health and safety regulations and the company's procedures are always adhered to, promoting a safe workplace environment.·      Maintain compliance with all Quality system requirements in accordance with documented procedures.·      Monitoring production data and implementing efficiency improvements to reduce costs and enhance output.·      Authorized and responsible to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality system.·      Authorized and responsible to initiate, recommend or provide solutions, and to verify the implementation of those solutions.·      Authorized and responsible to control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.·      Authorized and responsible for providing trainingThese are the main duties for this position and the job, but not limited to justthese duties (Plant Managers Discretion)Personal Characteristics:·      Strong leadership skills and experience managing diverse teams.·      Excellent communication and organizational skills capable of working·      independently and as part of a team.·      Excellent work ethic Including punctuality & attendance·      Ability to deal with stress in a positive / proactive manner·      Ability to manage multiple tasks in a safe and efficient manner·      Self-motivated along with a strong initiative·      Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment·      Ability to work with minimal supervision·      Attention to detail extremely importantEducational Requirements:1) High School or its equivalent2) Collage Degree Preferred3) Proven experience in production supervisory role.
