Director of Social Services (Hiring Immediately)

Responsibilities: Supervises Social Workers and guides facility staff in matters of residency advocacy, protection, and promotion of resident's rights. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and applicable laws. Uses independent judgment and discretion on behalf of the organization in the performance of these duties. Supervisory responsibilities include: Interviews, hires, and trains Social Workers. Plans, assigns, and directs work. Prepares work assignment sheets. Qualifications: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. LSW preferred.  One year of supervised social work experience working directly with individuals in a health care setting.
