ResponsibilitiesComplete assessments and develop care plans to design activities that are multi-faceted, meet guests' functional levels, and reflect the needs and interests of each guest.Offer activities that engage and involve facility, staff, volunteers and visitors.Assist with escorting guests to and from activities.Post monthly activity calendarsManage Activities Assistants in facilitating guest engagement in activities.QualificationsLicensed or registered, if applicable, by the State in which practicing; andIs eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or as an activities professional ORHas two years of experience in a social or recreational program ORIs a qualified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant; orHas completed a training course approved by the State.High school diploma requiredAbout Ciena Healthcare Ciena Healthcare is Michigan's largest provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation care services.
