Associate Clinician - Adult Outpatient Behavioral HealthMake sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below. An outpatient behavioral health program is seeking a dedicated and compassionate therapist to join a collaborative and supportive team. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate 2-3 daily group therapy sessions using approved curriculum and group facilitation techniques. Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized treatment and master treatment plans. Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes, treatment updates, incident reports, and discharge summaries. Participate in treatment team meetings to review patient progress, treatment goals, and discharge planning. Provide individual and family therapy sessions and maintain regular contact with key members of each patient's care team. Monitor patient attendance and follow up on engagement issues. Coordinate care with attending physicians and other providers. Manage crisis situations effectively and in accordance with program policies. Comply with mandatory reporting laws and billing procedures. Participate in public relations and educational activities as assigned. Patient Population: Adult patients, primarily ages 50+ Diagnoses include depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia Caseload includes approximately 12 patients, generally lower acuity Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Core patient hours: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Flexible start and end times outside of core hours Occasional Saturday availability and overtime shifts as needed Requirements: Registered Associate MFT, ASW, APCC (BBS), or Psychological Assistant (BOP) Licensed candidates also welcome (higher compensation tier) Experience in behavioral health or healthcare settings (internships, BHT, case management, etc.) Strong group facilitation skills and knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses Effective written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred Qualities: Highly organized with strong prioritization abilities Patient-centered with a commitment to individualized care Confident working independently and collaboratively Reliable and responsive with timely follow-up and documentation Work Culture: Collaborative and team-oriented environment Emphasis on flexibility and understanding of personal commitments Supportive supervision and growth opportunities
