Physical Therapist Assistant

New England Pediatric Care is seeking a part time to full time Physical Therapy Assistant to work in our 82-bed long term care facility for children and young adults with complex medical needs!!Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.NEPC provides 24-hour skilled nursing care, and Monday - Friday rehabilitation, education and young adult programming services. No more weekends and no more unrealistic productivity metrics!!!The PTA's primary responsibilities include providing skilled treatments to our residents and day students with multiple neurological, developmental and motor-based diagnoses under the direction of the Physical Therapists. The PTA may participate in our Wheelchair, Orthopedic, Neurology, Physiatry, and Orthotics clinics, may participates in IEP meetings, and completes all daily/monthly documentation in a timely manner. The PTA works closely with other licensed and unlicensed personnel in a friendly atmosphere to ensure the best quality of life for all our residents/day students.Qualifications Strong patient care skills. Strong communication skills. Experience in various settings is welcomed.
