Job descriptionEastern US preferred field-based position:Educate doctors, surgical staff, and RIWOspine sales personnel in properly using RIWOspine endoscopic equipment.RESPONSIBILITIES:Coverage of surgical cases for product evaluations and installation of new equipment, specifically: Ensure all necessary equipment is at the facility and in good working order. Educate stakeholders (doctors, OR management, OR staff, SPD, etc.) on the RIWOspine techniques, equipment, and proper usage and care. Meet with the surgeon before the case to discuss the surgery. Provide technical and clinical support during cases. Ensure any loaner equipment is cleaned and returned to RIWOspine. Provide feedback to the territory sales personnel regarding the cases. Follow up with doctors and stakeholders as needed.Education of doctors, including assisting with RIWOspine workshops, specifically: Help with the setup of laboratory equipment and lab stations. Instruct surgeons in the classroom and at lab stations. Tear down lab stations and clean and pack equipment. Follow up with doctors as needed. Develop training materials as required.Training of RIWOspine sales representatives, specifically: Assist in running corporate training events. Give presentations and demonstrations on anatomy, surgical techniques, and use of instrumentation and equipment. Supervise hands-on labs, including set-up, tear-down, and cleaning Visit new sales reps in the field for training and surgical case observation. Provide any in-service training as required by the staff. Meet with the surgeon and attend a surgical case if possible. Provide feedback to the sales team on any concerns and possible additional training and equipment needs.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Attend trade shows and educate surgeons on RIWOspine techniques and products at the booth and hands-on courses Assist in developing training materials (presentations, quick reference cards, training videos, etc.) Document RIWOspine and clinical activities on social media 80 %+ travel required (local and overnight stays) Be aware of and comply with RIWOspine Quality processes and applicable laws and regulations for this job type/position. Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Manager.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Surgical Technology, or other related field or a Bachelor's Degree in business or healthcare. Three years of experience in the healthcare field. Experience in the operating room and with OR protocol. Ability to work with a variety of different customers and personalities. Knowledge of spine anatomy and spine surgical techniques. Ability to work weekends (approx. 10-20 Saturdays and/or Sundays per year) Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment are crucial for successful employment.The following physical demands are required: Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours per day Lift/Carry 35 poundsThe following work environment conditions may exist: Infectious Disease Exposure Laser Exposure X-Ray Exposure Chemicals ExposureIndustry Medical Equipment Manufacturing Employment Type Full-time
