Travel Pathologists' Assistant - $3,460 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel Pathologists' Assistant for a travel job in San Francisco, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pathologists' Assistant Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/30/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description: Integrates knowledge, theory and practice to properly execute procedures in assigned areas of the laboratory. With advanced training and education, maintains competence in all practices to perform pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic procedures on biological specimens to aid health care providers in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of disease. May be responsible for specimen/material receipt, preparation, and archival/retrieval, as well as validation testing and problem troubleshooting, as defined by department policies and procedures. As a professional member of the laboratory team, works cooperatively with physicians, clients, and staff to facilitate superior patient care and to represent the laboratory positively by acting with courtesy, dignity, respect, and professionalism. Receives, verifies acceptability, and accessions specimens according to department polices. Processes specimens for testing, interpretation, and submission to other laboratories as needed. Performs accurate data entry throughout the testing, interpretation, and reporting processes. Requirements: clinical experience grossing specimens is required Shift Details: 5x8s 1200-2030, no floating, weekends or on callASCP certification is not required but preferred.
