Border Tire is hiring a Tire Technician in Lakeside, CA!/strong/p pAstrongTire Technician/strongis responsible for inspecting and repairing truck and trailer tires to ensure efficient operation and compliance./p pRepairs truck and trailer tires to ensure efficient operation and compliance by performing the followingbr /duties./p pstrongESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/p ul liInspects truck/trailer tires for excessive wear, bulges, cuts, and damaged tread./li liRepair tires with minor malfunctions./li liProperly secure vehicle to lift to ensure safe operation./li liUnbolt wheels from vehicles and remove them, using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools./li liProperly dismount and remount tires and wheels securely on the vehicle./li liRepair or replace tires on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks./li liResponsible for proper installation of wheels and tires, balancing wheels, and checking for correct fit./li liMaintains all inventories and tire equipment./li liReassemble tires onto wheels./li liPrepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding, or sandblasting./li liDisposes of damaged/old tires in accordance with state regulations./li liEnsures tires are functioning properly and within the Department of Transportation and Occupational Safety and Health Act Compliance./li liSafely operates all tools and equipment./li liReports any safety issues immediately to management./li liKeeps shop area neat and clean./li liAssist mechanics and perform other duties as directed./li/ul Pay Range: 19.00-24.00 per_hour, General Benefits: pstrongJob Benefits/strong/p ul li401(k)/li liDental Insurance/li liHealth Insurance/li liLife Insurance/li liPaid Time Off/li liTuition Reimbursement/li liVision insurance/li/ul pemstrongBenefit Conditions:/strong/em/p ul liOnly full-time employees are eligible./li/ul
