BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required. 12 months of relevant work experienceResponsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging examinations (e.g., X-rays, MRI, CT scans) as ordered by physicians. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adjusting settings as needed for optimal image quality. Follow radiation safety procedures and protocols to protect patients and staff. Accurately position patients to capture detailed, high-quality images. Maintain detailed patient records and update information in hospital databases. Educate patients about the imaging process and address any concerns or questions.
