Automotive Service Technician

About the Role: Haley Chevrolet in Midlothian is seeking experienced, full-time Automotive Technicians to join the Haley team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. You will work closely with other team members to provide high-quality service to our customers. Your expertise and attention to detail will be critical in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles. Minimum Qualifications: * At least 3 plus years of experience as an Automotive Technician * Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * High School diploma or equivalent * Valid and clean driver's license Preferred Qualifications: * Associate's degree in Automotive Technology * Master Mechanic * Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification * Certification with Chevrolet, Toyota, GM, Ford, Volvo or CDJR * State Inspection License * Experience with computer diagnostic systems * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication and customer service skills Responsibilities: * Performing diagnostic tests on vehicles to identity problems * Repairing or replacing parts as needed * Maintaining accurate records of all repairs and services performed * Communicating with customers about their vehicle's needs and providing recommendations * Maintaining a clean and safe work environment What Haley Offers: * Competitive, above market compensation * Medical, Dental and Vision benefits * 401k with company match * Company paid Basic Life, AD&D and Long-term Disability * Paid Time Off * Preferred Vehicle Purchase Programs * Uniforms provided * Positive and professional work environment * Career growth and promotion opportunities * Up to $10,000 in signing/retention bonus for candidates depending on experience and certifications * Possible relocation assistance for well-qualified applicants Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Weekends as scheduled
