As a Maintenance Technician, you will: * Maintain Buildings & Grounds - Perform general building maintenance, repairs, floor care, landscaping, snow removal, and remodeling to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. * Manage HVAC & Mechanical System - Inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to optimize safety and comfort for residents and staff. * Maintain Plumbing & Water Systems - Inspect and repair hot water heaters, softeners, plumbing equipment, and pool systems, including monitoring pool chemistry when scheduled. * Ensure Life Safety & Emergency Preparedness - Maintain and troubleshoot fire safety systems, generators, sprinkler systems, and alarm panels, ensuring compliance with Life Safety Code procedures. * Other Duties as Assigned - The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. This job also requires: * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Minnesota Boiler Operator's License * Strong mechanical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance. * Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment efficiently. * Valid driver's license with a clean record. * On Call requirement on a rotating basis. * Physical capability to perform essential job functions. * Ability to pass state mandated background check. * Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, staff, and families.
