Global Field Service Engineer

Duties include but not limited to: 1. Ensure proper installation of equipment, including calibrations, test builds, and customer training. 2. Applications support and inspection/measurement of prototypes within tolerances. 3. Telephone, email, and on-site troubleshooting and repair of equipment. 4. Interact with internal and external personnel to maximize customer experience. 5. Clearly and professionally interact with customers to provide "Best in Class" service. 6. Able to determine and utilize tools and equipment required to perform the scope of work. 7. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and assist in establishing preventative maintenance schedules with customer per system guidelines. 8. Assemble, align, and install equipment as necessary. 9. Ability to follow all established company Safety Protocols. 10. Travel, approximately 75% of the time. 11. Strong technical and management skills for delivering service documentation and reports. Requirements: 1. Meet one of the following: > 5+ years related experience in field service. > Military Technical Training with a Minimum of 2+ years of directly related experience. > Associate/Technical Degree with a Minimum of 2+ years of directly related experience. 2. Additionally, the preferred candidate must: > Be a self-starter with proven ability to work independently. > Be available for extensive travel. > Have a good working knowledge of electrical and mechanical schematics. > Have experience with PLC control logic, electro-mechanical devices, and laser technology. > Experience in the Additive/Subtractive Manufacturing or 3D Printing industry is a plus.
