We are seeking a Truck Mechanic to join our team! This position regularly maintains and repairs equipment and motors to keep in good repair.This is a full-time, union-hourly position located in Zanesville, OH.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.Inspect and operate equipment to diagnosis defects, wear, and/or problems.Test equipment after repair and/or assembly for proper performance and efficiency.Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.Dismantle and reassemble equipment and motors.Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.Maintain parts inventory for services and repairs.Schedule routine maintenance for machines and equipment.Qualifications/Requirements:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience in vehicle and/or industrial equipment or related field.Basic computer skills.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
