Field Specialist (Part-time)

The Phoenix College Facilities Department is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable turf and field maintenance professional to support the care and upkeep of the college's athletic fields. This temporary role involves regularly inspecting the fields, providing weekly recommendations to the groundskeepers and Maintenance Operations Manager, and ensuring that all playing surfaces remain safe, professional, and well-maintained. Key responsibilities include: * Guiding the groundskeeping team with ongoing tasks and best practices * Monitoring and managing the Baseline irrigation system as needed * Collaborating with the Maintenance Operations Manager to develop effective maintenance processes and support smooth daily operations The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills and the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
