Our site, Albéa Shelbyville is specialized in Laminate Tubes for Oral, Cosmetic & Pharmaceutical Markets. Scope Unload/Load trailers. Move raw materials and finished goods to and from production departments. Main activities Utilizing forklift to move raw materials from the warehouse to the production floor as well as finished goods from the production floor to the warehouse for storage. Load and unload trailers. Process all material movement via VMU. Maintain daily inspection records of forklift/equipment used. Operate shrink wrap machine. Keep assigned warehouse area clean via use of brooms, dust mops and floor scrubber. Other duties as assigned. Accountability including KPIs * Ensure product is handled in a safely manner, and brought to the production line timely to ensure lines are running efficiently. * Ensure trucks are loaded timely and accurately. * Ensure proper inventory control by scanning the product to the correct location. Profile (Experience & qualifications) Ability to use forklift equipment and obtain forklift certification. Previous forklift experience desired. High School education or equivalent GED. Ability to work scheduled/unscheduled hours and overtime when required. Willingness to cross-train in various support roles for plant production. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
