2nd shift - Direct Hire - Maintenance Technician Location: Wadsworth, OH, US Hours: 4:30p-3am Monday to Thursday Salary: $25.00 to $31.00/hr. + $1 shift differential Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, PTO, Paid Holidays, 401k & more!A leading manufacturer of heavy-duty, stainless-steel clamps and couplings is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its 2nd shift team.Key Responsibilities:Perform maintenance activities supporting production operationsEnsure equipment is operating safely and efficiently; communicate with maintenance across shiftsCoordinate with production teams on downtime repair estimatesConduct electrical installations/repairs: outlets, lighting, fans, and other fixturesDiagnose problems, repair/replace parts, and test machinery and equipmentHandle electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, single/three-phase controls, and PLC troubleshootingPerform mechanical repairs of production machinesTroubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V using test equipmentInterpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagramsSupport engineering in installing and debugging new automated machineryFollow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE useAssist with additional daily maintenance tasks as neededRequirements:Associate degree or apprenticeship in maintenance technology preferredHigh school diploma or GED required; trade certifications considered3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing settingMetal stamping, forging, or forming experience highly desiredStrong knowledge of electrical theory, motor controls, hydraulics, and pneumaticsProficient in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial equipment using manuals and diagramsTeam player with solid communication and problem-solving skillsMust meet physical demands and work a 4-day, 10-hour shift (Mon-Thurs)Work Environment:Onsite schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM-3:00 AMPhysical demands: climbing stairs/ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, using PPEMay assist other departments in a manufacturing environmentInterested?
