Now Hiring: Mechanical Assembler - 2nd ShiftLocation: Windsor, CT Pay Rate: $21.40/hour Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM Raise after 90 daysWhy You'll Love This Opportunity:Competitive pay for 2nd shift workPay increase after 90 daysWork with a well-established, industry-leading clientHands-on experience assembling mechanical componentsComprehensive safety training providedResponsibilities:As a Mechanical Assembler, your daily tasks will include:Assembling preformed sheet metal components using various hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, high-pressure carts, etc.)Pressure testing valves and related componentsReading and interpreting assembly and sub-assembly drawings and work instructionsKeeping your work area clean, organized, and safeLogging completed tasks and tracking work on production documentationPerforming other duties as assigned by supervisorsQualifications:This role could be a great fit if you:Have at least 1 year of mechanical assembly or related experience (preferred)Are comfortable using tools and interpreting technical documentsCan lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environmentsAre able to kneel, bend, stand for long periods, and climb ladders as neededCan work in confined or uneven areas safelyWork well independently and in team settingsAre familiar with using tablets or computers on the jobAre available to work 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM)What Happens Next:If your experience aligns with the role, we'll contact you with the next steps.
