Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty:Physical Therapist Discipline:Therapy Start Date:07/30/2025 Duration:52 weeks 40 hours per week Shift:8 hours, days Employment Type:Local Contract Job Title: Physical TherapistPosition Summary: Reporting to the Director of Physical Therapy, this experienced Physical Therapist will demonstrate a passion for excellence in patient care, leadership in mentoring Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and a commitment to improving the quality of life in the community. The ideal candidate will be well-established in the area with strong referral relationships and a reputation for delivering outstanding care.Primary Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive treatment programs to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Provide direct patient care including evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment across a broad spectrum of clinical diagnoses. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic, CMS, and other regulatory standards. Educate patients, families, and medical providers on treatment plans and progress. Maintain open communication with referring providers as needed. Stay current with new techniques and maintain all required certifications. Adhere to APTA standards, state practice acts, and clinic policies. Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the clinic's Quality Assurance Plan. Maintain professional licensure and collaborate with healthcare providers within and outside the clinic. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the clinic's mission and actively contribute to its success. Qualifications:Minimum Requirements: Graduate degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program. Five (5) or more years of rehabilitation experience. Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of California. Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Additional specialized training or certifications. Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods. Capable of climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds and raise objects overhead. Manual dexterity for operating computers and phones. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Tolerance for outdoor environmental conditions and uneven terrain. Ability to safely operate and drive a motor vehicle.
