Fire Inspector

Fire Inspector: The Town of East Haven is currently seeking candidates for the position of Fire Inspector. This is a part-time position (19 1/2 hours per week) Salary: $45.92 / hour. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have satisfactorily passed the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services Office of State Fire Marshal Codes and Standards Committee training program and maintain that certification throughout the term of employment. Candidates will interview with the Honorable Board of Fire Commissioners at a date, time and location to be announced. The successful candidate will be required to take a medical exam including drug screen and a comprehensive criminal background check conducted by the East Haven Police Department. All qualified candidates must submit a resume, cover letter, copy of Fire Marshal Certificate to the East Haven Board of Fire Commissioners no later than July 3, 2025 by 4:00 PM.
