Field Service Specialist - IAH

* Provide on-site guidance to facilitate and ensure a safe and efficient operation. * Provide information and informal training on technical, operational, and logistical matters related to the aircraft's operation and maintenance. * Set priorities and effectively escalate concerns within Mesa Airlines and Embraer. * Update the maintenance group, as designated, of key operational and maintenance concerns / issues. * Identify areas of operation or processes / procedures suitable for improvement as related to the operation / maintenance. * Provide reports / status in accordance with established requirements and schedule. * Be required to lead, support, and/or start up teams as they carry out modification retrofits, product improvement installations, and damage repairs as required. * Understand and be able to effectively utilize Mesa Airlines internal in-service / technical support related processes. * Build effective working relationships across departments to enhance operational efficiency and out-of-service response times. * You have at least 5 years of applied aviation maintenance experience, preferably Embraer (ERJ) 175 aircraft or any 50+ seater aircraft* You have strong troubleshooting skills.* You are able to work varying schedules as defined by operational demands (schedule TBD).* You are an FAA licensed Airframe & Powerplant mechanic.* You have computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and web-based applications.* You have interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, organizations, and regulatory agencies.* You have business writing skills necessary to create various reports and correspondence.
