Service Technician We are looking to add an Automotive Service Technician to our Service Team. Duties and Responsibilities * Performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, which could include oil change, tire rotation, battery installations, headlight and taillight installations, transmission work/flushes, air conditioner recharges, and front-end alignments * Conducting diagnostic procedures to identify the cause of automotive issues and make effective and accurate recommendations * Conducting necessary repairs and testing vehicles before handing them back to customers * Inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet provincial requirements for safety and emissions * Maintaining knowledge of current industry best practices * Maintaining paperwork and customer records * Ensuring equipment longevity * Maintaining a clean and safe workplace Skills and Qualifications * Knowledge and ability to operate auto repair tools * Knowledge and ability to use diagnostic tools * Well-versed in the use of automotive tools in general * Willingness to participate in in-house training programs * MUST HAVE SAFETY INSPECTOR LICENSE Benefits * Medical Insurance-Paid for the Employee * Dental * Vision * Short/Long Term Disability * 401k-Match Service Center is brand new, air conditioned and one of the fastest growing centers in the St. Louis area.
