The South College School of Physician Assistant Studies Program is seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual for the position of Director of Didactic Education at its Asheville Campus. This team-oriented individual in coordination with the Program Director, ensures effective planning, coordination, delivery and ongoing evaluation of academic courses, goals and competencies. The PA program has strong administrative support, excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development. Clinical practice release time is available. General Responsibilities: Provide oversight of the development, content, implementation, and continuous evaluation of the didactic curriculumOngoing sustainability and development of the academic portion of the programProvide continuous self-assessment and evaluation of the academic phaseAssist in the continuous review and compliance of federal, state and accrediting activitiesPlan scholarship and service activities to assist the Institutions compliance outcomesInstruction in all phases of the programParticipate in student admissions and committees as assigned Requirements Graduate of ARC-PA accredited programCurrent NCCPA certification Masters in Physician Assistant studies or health related fieldEligibility for PA licensure in North CarolinaPrefer at least 3 years or more of teaching or clinical education experience
