Location: Portage, MI, United States Share: Quick Apply Now Save Job Saved Description A Rental EPG Field Technician would perform maintenance and repair on Rental Power Generators, Air Compressors and HVAC . Responsibilities As a Rental EPG Field Technician your responsibilities may include, but not limited to: * Our Kalamazoo location will report to Galesburg * Diagnose problems with generators, air compressors and HVAC * Perform all repairs associated with the diagnosis that is possible out in the field * Locate and order parts as required. On occasion, this may require you to coordinate with parts-drivers to get the parts you need to your work site * Write up detailed service reports for both internal and external requirements * Maintain own equipment * Build productive customer relationships to benefit all involved Qualifications To qualify, you should have: * Proven track record of ability to perform and fix generators, air compressors and HVAC in a timely manner to the quality and standard required * Strong understanding of electrical components such as switch gears and automatic transfer switches and HVAC equipment * The ability to self motivate and self manage time * A record of promptness to get to and from work on time * Strong ability to communicate and listen, understanding customer needs and performing the work necessary * Strong writing skills to complete detailed service reports * A current DOT Medical Card * A current CDL A Disclaimer: Any Duties and Responsibilities described within the Careers Page are not a comprehensive list, and the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.
