Job Type Full-timeDescriptionJob Summary The Truck Driver ensures materials, including eggs, are transported to Forsman Farms company locations. This role is also responsible for basic vehicle maintenance.ResponsibilitiesPerform pre-trip inspections on tractor and trailersRoutine maintenance checks after trips. This may include tire pressures, fluids levels, brakes, lights, and other essential components to ensure the truck is in safe working conditionOperate vehicle safely, obeying traffic laws and regulations, and adhering to company policies, procedures, and biosecurity measuresSafely transport materials from the plant to the farms, and eggs from the farms to the plant. Plan routes effectively, considering weather conditions and road conditionsSecure loads properly, following all safety protocols, and be vigilant for potential hazards, security and biosecurity threatsAbility to adapt to changing circumstances and make educated decisions based on company policies and regulationsKeep accurate records of activities and documentation required by regulatory agencies and company policiesQualificationsSafe driving recordMust have valid Minnesota Class A CDL driver's license and current health cardKeen attention to detailStrong verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environmentMaintain a current health cardSalary Description $27-$30
