Transportation Driver Full-time

Our driver is responsible in providing transportation for our patients/residents as scheduled by the transportation coordinator to satisfy medical appointments. The driver's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following duties: * Operate vehicle to transport patients/residents between destinations in a safe manner consistent with Larkin Community Hospitals policy and regulations. * Comply with all traffic regulations in order to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner. * Report any van malfunctions or needed repairs to the transportation coordinator. * Maintain vehicle cleanliness at all times. * Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to the proper facility and dispatcher. * Pick up and drop off passengers at scheduled locations, following time schedules. * Provide directions and information about van schedules, facilities and operations to the passengers as needed. * Regulate ventilation systems for passenger comfort. * Establish good rapport with passengers. Minimum Qualifications: * Two years of experience transporting patients. * Be familiar with Miami-Dade and Broward County roadways. * A valid Florida driver's license with no violations or accidents in the last 36 months. * CDLA or B with P endorsement required. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Schedule: * Alternating weekends
