Amrize is 70,000 people around the world who are passionate about building progress for people and the planet through four business segments: Cement, Ready-Mix Concrete, Aggregates and Solutions & Products.ABOUT THE ROLEAmrize, a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Haul Truck Driver to support operations at the Quarry located in Wrentham, MA.This position is primarily resposible to safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport raw materials (such as rock, gravel, and other aggregates) within the quarry site.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHOperate large haul trucks to move materials from the pit to the crusher, stockpile, or other designated areasPerform daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of the truckFollow all safety regulations, traffic rules, and company procedures while driving on quarry propertyCommunicate with equipment operators, loader operators, and supervisors to coordinate load delivery and routesMaintain clean equipment and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediatelyMonitor truck gauges, fluid levels, and overall vehicle condition during operationsAssist with other general labor or site duties as assigned when not haulingWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation: High school diploma or equivalentField fo Study: Required Work Experience: Minimum 3 years expereince in operating machinery such as loaders, excavators, haul trucks, bulldozers, and crushers.Travel Requirments: N/ASafe Equipment Operation: Skilled in operating large haul trucks and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.Situational Awareness: Strong awareness of surroundings, terrain, other equipment, and personnel to prevent accidents.Mechanical Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle systems for performing daily inspections and spotting maintenance issues.Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with team members, equipment operators, and supervisors via radio or in person.Attention to Detail: Carefully follows safety procedures, monitors gauges, and checks load limits to ensure compliance and prevent damage.Adaptability: Can adjust to varying site conditions, weather, and operational changes quickly and effectively.Endurance and Physical Stamina: Capable of working long shifts in rugged outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions.Time Management: Efficiently completes hauls and tasks to maintain production schedules.Teamwork: Works cooperatively with pit crews, loaders, and other drivers to ensure smooth operations.Problem-Solving: Able to assess and respond to minor issues or obstructions during hauling routes.Additional RequirementsSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
