Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO 64133 Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday (with overtime as needed) Compensation: Starting pay range: $23.04/hr – $30.72/hr Benefits include: Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance 22 days of PTO earned your first year 12 holidays plus 1 floating holiday per year Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Diagnose and repair automotive/light and medium-duty truck systems in accordance with the preventative maintenance schedule Diagnose and repair brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems to specifications, in a safe and timely manner Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to other technicians, internal and external customers as needed Respond to service requests submitted by drivers regarding the general maintenance or condition of the vehicles Maintain current knowledge of new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay abreast of rapidly changing automotive technology Be available for emergency service in the event of an in-route vehicle breakdown The successful candidate will have: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 5 to 10 years of Service Technician experience (must provide your own tools) Good driving record Missouri State Inspector’s permit or the ability to obtain this permit (Eitas will assist in obtaining MVI) Current Refrigeration, Recycling, and Recovery certification or the ability to obtain this certification (Eitas will assist in obtaining AC Certification) Class B CDL with passenger endorsement (Eitas will assist in obtaining a CDL) Federal DOT medical certification or the ability to obtain this certification ASE Certifications are a plus Our employees love Eitas for our competitive compensation, generous benefits, and our positive impact on the community.
