This position requires candidates to have prior Epic experience and at least 2-3 years of staff experience in a CVICU setting. The ideal candidate must demonstrate competencies in managing immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in a high-acuity environment, engaging in advanced hemodynamic monitoring.**Key Responsibilities:**- Provide comprehensive care for patients recovering from cardiac and vascular surgeries in the ICU. - Efficiently utilize ventilators, arterial lines (a-lines), spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring systems, and ECG interpretation/monitoring. - Administer and titrate vasoactive and inotropic drips as per patient needs. - Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care. - Participate in ongoing assessments of patient status and adjust care plans accordingly. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, contributing to effective communication within the team.**Requirements:**- **Epic experience required** - Minimum of 2-3 years of CVICU experience. - Proficient in the care of high-acuity patients, especially those requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, critical care environment. - Competency in managing ventilators, a-lines, spinal drains, and temporary pacemakers. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.**Additional Information:**- **Competency test required** within 24 hours of submission (be sure to provide an up-to-date email address). - Navy blue scrubs will be required. - Candidates from ineligible counties will not be accepted after January 11, 2024. - Willingness to float to other units may be required.**At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
