Field Service Power Generation Technician

DESCRIPTION We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Memphis, TN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: + Completing repair activities on generators or components + Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of service + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools RESPONSIBILITIES In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: + Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. + High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. + Advanced experience with electrical repair and maintenance + Proficient Diesel Engine experience. + Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components. + Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems. + Understanding switchgear schematics. + Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics. Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
