About the Role This position involves providing technical assistance and troubleshooting/repair of SEW-EURODRIVE mechanical equipment which may include frequent travel to customer sites. Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour Shift: 1st Top 5 skills & abilities: * Ability to troubleshoot and repair SEW-EURODRIVE electromechanical products. * Ability to read and understand parts lists, catalogs, price books, general factory instructions, and SEW-EURODRIVE quality procedures. * Must be able to prioritize and manage time effectively. * Ability to read and understand parts lists, catalogs, price books, general factory instructions, and SEW-EURODRIVE quality procedures. * Ability to travel up to 50%. Top 5 actual task: * Receive and execute customer requests for mechanical field service primarily in the Southeastern US, but other locations in the US sales territory as well. * Generate field service reports and order documentation for associated field service trips. * Assist customers with general technical inquiries. * Evaluate electromechanical products returned for warranty analysis, document inspections/complaints, generate reports, and administer warranty decisions in accordance with SEW-EURODRIVE established procedures. * Assess each situation and do not perform any tasks which s/he feels is unsafe, on which s/he has not received training, or engage in any unsafe work practices. Report any unsafe condition to his/her manager.
