The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center, a trusted healthcare provider in the North Georgia region, to identify a dedicated Operating Room (OR) Support Technician to join their Surgery Department on a full-time, day-shift basis.This is an exciting opportunity to support a high-performing surgical team in a patient-centered environment where quality care and teamwork are top priorities.Position Summary:The OR Support Tech plays a vital role in ensuring the operating room runs efficiently and safely. This position assists with surgical room turnover, instrument transport and sterilization, stocking supplies, and maintaining overall cleanliness in the surgical environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist with transporting patients, equipment, and instruments within the surgical departmentSupport operating room setup and breakdown before and after surgical proceduresClean and restock surgical suites with appropriate supplies and sterile instrumentsEnsure all equipment is functioning properly and report issues as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment according to infection control standardsCollaborate with surgical team members to ensure smooth daily operationsSupport the sterile processing team with supply and equipment needsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in an OR, hospital, or surgical support role preferredBasic knowledge of medical terminology and sterile technique is a plusAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularlyStrong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a teamCommitment to patient safety and quality careBy applying, you consent to your information being transmitted by Monster to the Employer, as data controller, through the Employer’s data processor SonicJobs.
