JOB TITLE: Electrician (E2 Licensed) Location: Bridgeport, CT Department: Maintenance/Facilities) Duration: Direct Hire Salary: $35 – $45/hour (based on experience) Shift: Flexible/Open to All Shifts | On-call schedule with lucrative OT opportunities Benefits: Full company-sponsored benefits package upon hire Job Summary: We are seeking a licensed E2 Electrician to support operations at a large industrial manufacturing facility in Bridgeport, CT . This is a direct hire position with excellent overtime earning potential, especially for those willing to participate in an on-call schedule. Ideal candidates will bring industrial electrical experience, a flexible attitude toward scheduling, and strong troubleshooting skills with manufacturing equipment. Experience with CNC machines and Rockwell Automation SLC is highly preferred. Principal Responsibilities: Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting within an industrial/manufacturing facility Support equipment uptime for machinery, including CNCs, automation systems, and production lines Safely handle electrical wiring, panel work, conduit installation, and system diagnostics Work in compliance with OSHA, NEC, and facility safety standards Participate in the on-call rotation; additional voluntary on-call hours offer significant earning potential Document all work performed and communicate effectively with the maintenance and production teams Ensure timely and safe responses to equipment failures and maintenance requests Assist with system upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects All other duties as assigned Requirements & Qualifications: Valid E2 Electrical License (State of CT) – Required Minimum 2+ years of experience working as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing setting Experience with Rockwell Automation SLC systems – Preferred Background with CNC machinery – Preferred Ability to read electrical schematics and perform system diagnostics Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call scheduling Work Environment: This role operates in a high-volume industrial manufacturing facility. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to machinery, electrical systems, and occasional extended hours.
