About Nickel & Suede Nickel & Suede is a Kansas City-based fashion accessories brand known for pioneering lightweight leather earrings and redefining everyday jewelry through bold, wearable design. We manufacture most of our products in-house and are expanding into collegiate licensing, custom gifting, and new categories like leather goods. As we grow, we're looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on Operations Manager to lead our fulfillment and production teams, ensuring everything we make and ship meets our standards of quality, timeliness, and care. What You’ll Do Own and execute a rolling two-week production schedule based on inventory levels, sales forecasting, and business needs Lead the warehouse and production teams in daily operations across fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and inventory movement Adjust staffing and workflow during high and low volume periods, including major sales events Hire, train, and manage both full-time and part-time team members Maintain high standards for product quality, order accuracy, and fulfillment speed Track and respond to KPIs related to labor efficiency, output, and turnaround time Oversee raw material receiving, inventory flow, and supply restocking Maintain a clean, clutter-free, and efficient warehouse and production environment Collaborate with internal teams to support launches and go-to-market plans Work closely with the CFO to act on data trends, cost analysis, and inventory reporting You’ll Thrive in This Role If You...
