Job Description

We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Operations Manager to join a leading environmental services firm. This role is key to ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of demolition and abatement projects across various sites. Salary- $100-150K plus a full benefit package, paid time off and holidays Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Site Assessments Evaluate job sites to determine the most effective demolition and abatement strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to develop detailed, risk-mitigated work plans. Health & Safety Oversight Partner with EH&S professionals to implement strict safety protocols and ensure full compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Lead emergency preparedness efforts. Team & Field Leadership Supervise and coordinate field crews, maintaining clear communication with project managers to ensure timelines and budgets are met. Equipment Coordination Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure the right tools and equipment are available, maintained, and job-ready. Execution & Quality Control Oversee all aspects of abatement and demolition work, from manual labor to heavy machinery operation. Monitor performance, safety, and environmental impact in real time. Debris & Site Management Supervise debris removal and ensure materials are disposed of properly and in compliance with recycling and environmental guidelines. Regulatory Compliance Manage hazardous materials, including asbestos and lead paint, in alignment with state and local regulations. Enforce dust control and safe removal procedures. Reporting & Documentation Collaborate with Project Coordinators to maintain accurate job logs, disposal records, and incident reports for internal and external stakeholders. Budget & Labor Management Develop and manage budgets, track project costs, and support payroll operations by documenting employee job assignments and hours. Provide field supervisors with training on timekeeping and project management software. Problem-Solving & Adaptability Address unforeseen project challenges, modify plans as needed, and process change orders when structural or safety issues arise. What You Bring: Strong technical understanding of demolition, abatement, and best practices (BMPs) In-depth knowledge of OSHA and safety compliance standards Proven experience managing complex field projects from start to finish Effective leadership, communication, and coordination skills Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
