Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Piping Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Aveva E3D/PDMS , AutoCAD , and SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) design software. This role will lead piping design efforts on complex industrial and energy projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee piping design teams in the development of 3D models and 2D deliverables for large-scale industrial or energy projects. Manage the design and layout of piping systems in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Develop and review piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings, support details, and material take-offs. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical) to ensure effective project execution. Perform clash detection and resolve interface issues using SmartPlant 3D and/or Aveva E3D. Ensure design quality and compliance through thorough checking and verification of drawings and models. Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design best practices and software usage. Assist in scheduling, planning, and estimating design activities and resources for projects. Support field activities such as site surveys, walkdowns, and construction support, as needed. Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of piping design experience in industrial sectors such as oil & gas, chemical, power, or petrochemical. Proficient in Aveva E3D or PDMS , AutoCAD , and SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) . Strong understanding of piping codes, standards (ASME, API), and engineering practices. Experience with piping materials, valves, supports, and insulation specifications. Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills. Ability to work independently and manage design teams to meet project deadlines.
