Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on facility and production equipment, responding to equipment downtime, and supporting maintenance and engineering projects. This role requires 4-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or 2 years with a recognized trade certification. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, ensuring optimal and safe operation. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Support the installation, setup, modification, and relocation of equipment. Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics. Maintain accurate documentation using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Follow safety policies, including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and contribute to workplace health and safety improvements. Support and complete small electrical or mechanical projects as assigned. Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with housekeeping standards. Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Qualifications: Skills: Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical/electrical schematics. Working knowledge of industrial PCs, PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Beckhoff), and related circuitry. Strong troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems, PLC systems, robots, AC/DC drives, and motion controls. Familiarity with equipment setup, preventive maintenance practices, and single/three-phase systems preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment. Education and Experience: 4-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, or 2 years of experience with a recognized trade certification (e.g., Electrician or Industrial Mechanic). Preferred: Knowledge of electrical/hydraulic systems, CMMS, forklift or scissor lift operation.
