Operations Manager | $140k–$160k + Bonus | South of Dallas, TX | Direct Hire What Matters Most: • Direct Hire Opportunity : Join a well-established manufacturer of standard concrete products. • Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM) • Location: South of Dallas, Texas • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and annual bonus Job Description: The Operations Manager will be responsible for directing and coordinating all tasks related to the production and delivery of standard concrete products. This includes oversight of estimating, engineering, scheduling, contracts, customer service, and AR/AP functions. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of construction project workflows, quality control, and financial operations in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead day-to-day operations including estimating, drafting, engineering, project management, and production scheduling. • Review and ensure accuracy in all project estimates and schedules to support competitive and profitable execution. • Evaluate and approve contracts, specifications, and insurance documentation in collaboration with the General Manager. • Coordinate with the Safety Coordinator to ensure full compliance with current safety and quality standards. • Monitor material and labor costs for standard and custom projects, ensuring alignment with budgets and billing. • Coach and develop department leads, conduct performance evaluations, and identify talent for advancement. • Set the tone for professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement across departments. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a technical field, or 5+ years in precast or concrete manufacturing. • Proven experience overseeing multi-functional teams in a production or project-based environment. • Strong ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, contracts, and construction plans. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical reporting and team collaboration. • Sound understanding of estimating, budgeting, and cost-control methods. • Analytical mindset with the ability to drive decision-making based on data and operational metrics. • Leadership skills with a strong track record of mentoring and team development.
