Job Title: HR Assistant III (Coordinator) Location (city, state): Franklin, TN (Onsite) Industry: Manufacturing Pay: $24–27/hour (based on experience) About Our Client: Our client is a well-established manufacturing company serving both residential and commercial customers. With a collaborative culture and a structured work environment, this team is seeking an HR Assistant to support day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into an HR Generalist path and stay long-term with a reputable organization. Job Description: The HR Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department and serve as the first point of contact for internal HR inquiries. Responsibilities include maintaining HR records, assisting with payroll and onboarding, posting jobs, and coordinating employee communication. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the front-facing HR contact for employees and visitors Provide administrative support to the HR team and front desk Post job openings and support the internal job-bidding process Assist with onboarding coordination and paperwork Manage personnel files and ensure compliance with documentation standards Support payroll functions including timecard entry and auditing Create reports using Excel and HRIS systems Help with employee engagement activities and internal communications Assist in employee relations investigations Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information Partner with HR Generalists and Supervisor on day-to-day support tasks Qualifications: Associate degree in Business or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 3 years of administrative or HR support experience Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or similar environment (no healthcare) Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as UKG, Kronos, SAP, etc. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Additional Details: Contract-to-hire position with long-term potential Business casual dress code Onsite only – remote or hybrid not available Must be available on Mondays due to payroll deadlines Background check and drug screen required Eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) Perks: Opportunity for long-term growth into an HR Generalist role Early work hours with potential flexibility once trained Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
