Job role: Part-Time Office Assistant Location: Belfast, Maine We're looking for a versatile Office Assistant to support our growing team with administrative, accounting, and light IT tasks. What You’ll Do Administrative Support Oversee daily office operations and provide general support to staff Maintain organized filing systems (digital and paper) Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes Respond to general phone and email inquiries Assist with document formatting, proofreading, and preparation Accounting Support Enter financial transactions into accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) Assist with invoice generation, expense tracking, and monthly reconciliations Help manage accounts payable/receivable records Coordinate with external accountants on reporting and tax preparation Support budget tracking and procurement processes IT & Tech Support Provide basic tech support (email setup, printer issues, etc.) Assist with software updates and installations Help maintain the company website or CMS (e.g., WordPress) Track IT inventory (hardware/software) Liaise with external IT providers when needed Required Qualifications High school diploma (Associate degree or higher preferred) Experience in office administration or accounting support Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Familiar with accounting tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or similar Comfortable with basic IT troubleshooting and support
