Job Description

Join a dynamic construction project team and play a vital role supporting department management directly on-site. This position offers hands-on exposure to the fast-paced construction environment, providing invaluable insight into project operations, payroll processes, and administrative coordination. Key Responsibilities: Provide essential administrative support to department management, ensuring smooth and continuous daily operations aligned with business goals. Assist with weekly field craft payroll time entry and verification of jobsite badging system time. Coordinate corrections and issuance of craft paychecks as needed. Maintain and update jobsite tracking logs and apprentice information in specialized databases. Manage new hire paperwork to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to payroll submission. Support document control processes and manage incoming/outgoing office shipments. Oversee office supply inventory and ordering. Help coordinate events and training sessions onsite. Serve as a dependable liaison between field and office, supporting urgent needs with a professional and proactive attitude. What You’ll Need to Succeed: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 3 years of administrative or coordinator experience, ideally within a construction setting. Strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable working with diverse personalities and managing multiple responsibilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word; Oracle experience a plus. Reliable vehicle capable of handling gravel roads (MVR check required). Willingness to work 40-50+ hours per week, including weekends when needed. Traditional schedule required (no flex/9/80 schedule). Work boots required (employee-provided).
