Shipping & Receiving Specialist

As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you will manage incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely, damage-free deliveries. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. What We Offer: * Pay of $18.50 per hour * Monday - Friday | 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM * Paid breaks * PPE provided * Temp-to-hire opportunity * Health, dental, and vision benefits * 401(k) retirement plan * Employee referral program * Climate-controlled work environment What We're Looking For: * High school diploma, GED, OR equivalent work experience * 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience - preferred * Familiarity with FedEx, UPS, and transportation management systems * Basic computer skills (Google Suite, Pace) * Strong communication and organizational skills * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods * Experience in a production or manufacturing setting - preferred * Printing industry experience is a plus What You'll Do as a Shipping & Receiving Specialist: * Unload, inspect, and organize incoming materials * Verify shipments against packing lists and purchase orders * Document and label inventory accurately * Store and move materials safely using forklifts or pallet jacks * Maintain a clean and safe shipping/receiving area * Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams * Package outbound items to prevent damage * Record accurate weights and dimensions for shipping * Process shipments using FedEx, UPS, and internal systems * Monitor packaging inventory and notify when restocking is needed * Support continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts * Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
